January 20, 2025: Inclement weather Update. Our office will close on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 due to the approaching winter weather . I began my insurance career in 1977 working as a team member in my father's State Farm office in Perry. I was appointed as a State Farm agent In Perry on January 1, 1979.

I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management & Insurance in 1977. I have a CLU designation which stands for Chartered Life Underwriter, a professional insurance industry designation. I am a member of the Perry/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce and a past president of the Perry Kiwanis Club.

My wife, Sheila, currently works with me as our office manager. She was an elementary school teacher before she began her insurance career. Our son, Josh and his wife Ashley reside in Tallahassee with our multiple grand dogs and cats. Our daughter Hannah and her husband Anthony currently live near Jacksonville, Florida with our 2 granddaughters, Arabella and Addie. We never get to see them enough.

I enjoy fishing when I can, which is never enough and trying to take care of our house and land. Our son Josh and I also are trying to grow some hay on land that was farmed in the early 1900s by my great, great grandparents.
